About English Words

  Connotation a feeling or idea that is suggested by a particular word although it need not be a part of the word's meaning, or something suggested by an object or situation.   Alliteration the occurrence of the same letter or sound at the beginning of adjacent  or closely connected words:   An anagram is a word or phrase formed by rearranging the letters of a different word or phrase, typically  using all the original letters exactly once Main Difference – Polysemy vs Homonymy Polysemy and Homonymy are two similar concepts in linguistics. Both of them refer to words having multiple meanings. Polysemy refers to the coexistence of many possible meanings for a word or phrase. Homonymy refers to the existence of two or more words having the same spelling or pronunciation but different meanings and origins. This is the main difference between polysemy and homonymy.
